I have decided to invest in the ceramic heating element. I have a custom built cage with a wooden top. I will mount it over a hole that is covered with chicken wire so Merlin can't touch it. My question is should it come on just at night or not. I have a heating pad in there underneath the indoor outdoor carpeting with a spot light above that spot and it is about 98 degrees. My house gets cold at night and i know they shouldn't have temps fall below 70. In the day my house is 72. As soon as i get the heating elements right my cage will be finished.
What wattage CHE should i get for my 6 foot tall, 5 foot wide, 4 foot deep cage? And should i leave it on 24/7 or just at night???
Thanx
Matt
