: Hello everyone! My name's Adric, and I've been lurking here for
: the last month or two, and was thinking that it's just about time
: to introduce myself. I live in Columbia, Missouri along with
: several animals, including two iguanas named Sneakers and
: Snortimer... oh yeah - I've also got a wife, Janet (and is she
: ever gonna make me pay for that!!! :). She wants me to let you
: know that their REAL names are Artemis and Labrys... I always
: call them by their nicknames, tho (I'm probably just obnoxious!).
: On a semi-related note, I've noticed that there's already a
: Sneakers here. Hopefully the duplication won't cause confusion.

: Anyway, they're just about one year old now, and were roughly
: six weeks old when we acquired them. We got them at a pet shop
: (I know... Bad Adric! BAD!!!), although I already knew enough
: about them to have a reasonable idea of what we were getting
: ourselves into. Of course, it didn't help that the book we
: bought with them wasn't accurate regarding their dietary
: requirements (i.e. crickets, 10-15% animal protein, etc.).
: Fortunately we got that all sorted out after awhile, putting them
: on a proper vegetarian diet, and they seem to be doing quite
: well... no signs of MBD or other problems.

: Snortimer is the (slightly) larger and (much) grouchier of the
: two. So of course it's no great surprise that he's a boy (we're
: all obnoxious! :) He's much calmer after getting out of his
: cage tho, so I suspect it's a territory thing. Sneakers is much
: calmer... she sits on my shoulder a lot, and helps me catch typos
: in my email.

: But enough rambling for now... assuming that I've set it up
: correctly, there should be a picture of Sneakers with this
: posting. It looks like I can only do one image at a time, so
: I'll post a followup to show you Snortimer. Cheers!
