Hello everyone! My name's Adric, and I've been lurking here for
the last month or two, and was thinking that it's just about time
to introduce myself. I live in Columbia, Missouri along with
several animals, including two iguanas named Sneakers and
Snortimer... oh yeah - I've also got a wife, Janet (and is she
ever gonna make me pay for that!!! :). She wants me to let you
know that their REAL names are Artemis and Labrys... I always
call them by their nicknames, tho (I'm probably just obnoxious!).
On a semi-related note, I've noticed that there's already a
Sneakers here. Hopefully the duplication won't cause confusion.

Anyway, they're just about one year old now, and were roughly
six weeks old when we acquired them. We got them at a pet shop
(I know... Bad Adric! BAD!!!), although I already knew enough
about them to have a reasonable idea of what we were getting
ourselves into. Of course, it didn't help that the book we
bought with them wasn't accurate regarding their dietary
requirements (i.e. crickets, 10-15% animal protein, etc.).
Fortunately we got that all sorted out after awhile, putting them
on a proper vegetarian diet, and they seem to be doing quite
well... no signs of MBD or other problems.

Snortimer is the (slightly) larger and (much) grouchier of the
two. So of course it's no great surprise that he's a boy (we're
all obnoxious! :) He's much calmer after getting out of his
cage tho, so I suspect it's a territory thing. Sneakers is much
calmer... she sits on my shoulder a lot, and helps me catch typos
in my email.

But enough rambling for now... assuming that I've set it up
correctly, there should be a picture of Sneakers with this
posting. It looks like I can only do one image at a time, so
I'll post a followup to show you Snortimer. Cheers!
