: Very true IZ's mom. Citrus fruits have an ALKALINE action when ingested & digested in gut ;-) then has an ACIDIC action...on the urinary system: dilutes urine, promotes acidification, effective on gram negative bacteria. Give IZ his oranges...good calcium as well. Seems like Ive read something about "hesperidin" in oranges being beneficial for something else...*shrugging shoulders*...The amount IZ has is NOT a problem...but mega-doses of Vitamin C WILL inhibit calcium absorption igs or humonz! Somewhat along the same lines (hope this is making sense!)
: Im gonna start experimenting on my igs AGAIN!!(come to think of it haven't stopped!) regarding alkaline & acidity ph...using litmus paper. Ive yet to order it tho! To see if they are getting enough calcium. Calcium is an alkaline! Im looking for a high alkaline ph (saliva) and low ph (acid) urates ;-)
: lolol wringing my hands, throwing my head back and howling...lke Dr. Frankenstein!!! Its not gonna hurt...THEM! but I'll be up to my elbows in Iguana spit & pee! I'll post the results ;-) when I do it!
: Gina (needing much sleep these days!)
