UV lite distance

OK Zookie has made the lower shelf his spot to bask He is 24 inches from a 36" 30wt. fluorescent daycyle light. I saw a chart some place they gave the maxium distace the rays travel, but can't find it now. We are also working on getting him up a level,Iwould rather do that then put the light inside the cage.Any links to the chart would be helpful. From the ungreatful Zookie, whos parents built him a NEW cage.( We know he will get to love it... some day)
