What book is that? I've never read that about green iguanas. Science has come along way since then with animal nutrition. I am a microbiologist working closely with a nutraceutical division. Remember we and are amimals are science projects. 10 years from now, we may very well be back to monkey biscuits...Science has a way of contradicting itself over the years...Examples salt is good/salt is bad. fat is bad/some fat is good. vit c. is good/ vit. c is bad with cancer. A lot of science is being done faster than we can decipher the data.
