: I understand how you feel about flea markeyts but not all of us are bad as I run a pet store out of the Berryessa flea markt in San Jose, CA. I have Iggies, turtles, Scorpions, & Trantulas, which I must add do not leave the premises without a care sheet, on occasian when I can afford them i also have snakes, I take very good care of them as I also own several of the former and I also carry hand fed birds (I breed all of my birds), Dwarf hamsters, I breed, and soon puppies that will be from my dogs, they do not get breed until they are 2 years old, they only get to have 3 litters then the female is fixed, and the puppies do not leave home until they are eight weeks and have at least their first shots and two parvo vaccinations. Yes, there are several people out at our "Flea Market that I would like to see shut down for leaving there birds out in the hot sun, not giving there puppies fresh water, or smoking around their birds, I hate that, I do not smoke. I am now 42 years old have owned pets since I was 5, worked pet stores since I was 15, and have been breeding pets for 10 years, and have owned my own store for 4 years, do get complaints on occasion from people who don't know a bay bird when they see one or that reptiles need the sunlight to generate heat, but I have recieved more compliments in my day then complaints on how well keept, well fed and how healthy my babies look compared to other places out here. So please not all of us are bad, but unlike some others out here if politely given I do take comments on how I can improve my childremn's living condition, and these ARE my children until they become yours.
