I am now 42 years old have owned pets since I was 5, worked pet stores since I was 15, and have been breeding pets for 10 years, and have owned my own store for 4 years, I do get complaints on occasion from people who don't know a baby bird when they see one or that reptiles need the sunlight to generate heat, but I have recieved more compliments in my day then complaints on how well keept, well fed and how healthy my babies look compared to other places out here. So please not all of us are bad, but unlike some others out here if politely given I do take comments on how I can improve my childremn's living condition, and these ARE my children until they become yours. I also wanted to interject that if I do see people with puppies, kittens, or bunnies that are far to young to leave there parent's I tell them to return the animal from where they bought it, unfortunately a lot of them don't care so I tell them about KMR (for kittens and small animals, or ESBILAC (for puppies) and pray they deal with it properly. I myself have complained to the person who runns the stalls because many a pearson has come to me for advice with a bird that was sick, dieing or died from someone out here, the only comment I receive is call the Humane Socity, sometimes they deal with it, sometimes they don't. The flea market here though is also owned by the people who own Preuim Pet & I am sure if enough people write about the conditions of some of the pet places here they would respond because of the bad publisty for there chain.
: Also I wanted to let everyone know at the end of the weekend (I only do Saturday & Sunday) every live animal goes home with me, the babies that are still being hand fed go home every night.
