I have posted this question before, but my problem is becoming more serious. I have 7 plus years experience w/herps. This doesn't include aggressive adult igs, however, I have had igs before (mine were hand raised to adulthood and tame). In an effort to prevent the euthanasia of igs in my town, I have opened my 5 acres to a herp rescue. At this time, I have taken in 2 igs. Both are female; 1 being 4, the other is 1 1/2 years old. The older female is fairly large and very aggressive. I have been working w/her for short periods of time daily since I got her (about 4 months ago). She is not showing any signs of calming down. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can tame her to make her available for adoption or at least be able to put my hand in the cage w/out using heavy duty leather gloves?
Thanks.
