Amphojel update!!!

well, seems my compounding pharmacy was a bit confused by my request ... they have searched all over the country for aluminum hydroxide in solid form with no luck ... well, turns out they were looking *specifically* for Amphojel and the company no longer makes it in solid form!!! so they called today + asked did i want them to mix it up themselves???? *duuuuuuuuuuuuuh* ... YES!

*sigh* ... the pharmacist is a really nice guy tho + has *really* put *alot* of effort into this whole thing so i can't be too po'd ... iZ's script will be ready by wednesday!!! *hooray*

but, even the delay has worked out ok ... i'm gonna alternate Gelusil one day and the Aluminum Hydroxide the next + hopefully prevent the severe constipation we went thru with just Amphojel ...

iZ has been thru sooooo much and he just downright *refuses* to take oral medicine anymore ... to the point where it is so stressful + the risk of him aspirating is soooo great that it isn't gonna do any good ... have been hiding the Gelusil in his oranges + that was been working like a charm!! should work even better with the script (no flavor, just capsules!) really, i think he *knows* it's in his oranges but considers it the lesser of 2 evils + so he lets me *think* i'm putting one over on him ... *grin*

anyway ~ a *huge* thank you to all who've tried to help me out with this!!! i appreciate the effort *and* support!!!
