Sleestack & I welcome you to the forum. As posted below, all igs have different personalities and usually don't respond well to change. If you have proper diet, lighting, and a safe environment, you may just have to wait for him to adapt-- or try changing small things like his scenery (add plants/hide boxes) move his cage or make sure a cat/dog isn't stressing him out. Newspaper/astroturf is a good substrate. Mine was crazy--digging and jumping around for many months but one day just totally calmed down for no reason. Well I'm sure he had a reason-- but we'll never know why. Good luck and keep us posted. Perhaps you should get a fecal done to rule out worms/parasites as well.
