Yup - she wants out, for some reason or other. What are the temps in the cage? How big is it, and how big is she?
What was she eating before you got her? If she was eating crap before,(most likely if she was in a pet store)then you will should continue giving her crap mixed in with proper food, gradually increasing the amounts until she is off the garbage food.
Also, how long have you had her? She would need some time to acclimatize before eating regularly again. It is a very stressful time for her, poor thing.
Although each Ig IS totally different from the next, a change in habitat can bring about dramatic changes in the Ig's behaviour. I had one that actually hid under the reptile carpet (either that or newspaper, is the only really safe substrate)all the time. Occasionally he'd come out to trash the place, but still I had to keep lifting the carpet about once a week to make sure he was still alive, as he tunnelled to the centre of the cage! Then we temporairily housed him in a humungous cage ... (I figured he'd not know the difference being under the carpet LOL) and holy smokes he turned into Tarzan the Lizard Man!
Now, the large green Ig - when he started digging he also stopped eating. I was afraid he'd hurt himself because within a week he really started getting violent while digging. The cure was more free-roaming time. And he's very happy (so to speak!) in his cage the rest of the time. So there you have some things to think about, please keep us posted.
