like filthy said, igs don't 'tame' the same as cats/dogs ... it's gonna take alot of time + patience ...
one thing that might help ... try not to "loom over" her when you approach her enclosure ... start talking softly so she knows you're coming + you don't accidently sneak up on her ...
when picking iZ up, i slide my hand *underneath* the back end of his body first ... vent + base of tail ... then i wait a second so he can realize that he *is* supported + he grips my arm with his legs ... THEN i pick up the front end, again, underneath his body, not putting my hand over him so it hopefully feels less of an act of aggression ... *ususally* once he gets his legs wrapped around my arm he's ok ... if i try to do it front end first, well, number one, i'm closer to his teeth ... but also he seems to feel ummmmm .... less secure ... ??? more like there's a chance he'll fall ... i think ...
*move slowly*!!! don't snatch at or just suddenly grab ... keep talking calmly + softly ... + remember, you're alot bigger than an iglet and it's just plain scared, nothing personal meant by it, it's just a small critter who needs lots of time to get to trust you ...
best o'luck!
