Okay, so I have the diet, habitat, lights and heat all under control, about the handling part this is where I am still having some problems.

I can retrieve Lizzy from the cage after mad dashes all over and opening the mouth, dropping the dewlap no head bobbing yet. she has tail whipped also and I ignored that. Once I get her out she opens her mouth at me, yes I have read what that means as well, I have a stack of printed matter from many sites on the web and books galore, some are very conflicting on their views also. Lizzy will then calm down and we can have a wonderful time together. I can put her on my shoulder and walk around and stroke her very gently. With this she closes her eyes in what i assuming is a state of contempment. Why all the fuss in the beginning though, what am i doing wrong here? I would like the interaction to start a little more calmer, as this is how it is after a short while that I am holding her.

Just got her another reptile bark for climbing, it is close to a vine and last night she perched her back legs from the bark and front legs on the vine, looked like she was swinging, I ould take a picture but have no scanner or any means of posting it here, she sure did look so adorable.
