Sounds ok IZ's MOM....as far as multi-vits w/ minerals go.....but *I would* ADD a phosphorous free calcium supplement as well(Crush both to the porportions you are trying to achieve and put in a shaker). USUALLY seems like those kid vitamins are neck & neck as far as the CA:P ratios go unless you get a kid vit w/ extra Calcium then the ratios are a little better but not much. If you are trying to AVOID Iron....I'd just go with a vitamin supplement (not multi-vit w/ minerals..kid vits may have more iron than you are looking to supplement)
and a phosphorus free calcium supplement like Tums (calcium carb)or CitriCal (calcium citrate) w/o D3. I don't know....did his vet recommend anything in particular ? I sure would like to know what it is. I just really don't like the things Ive read about Centrum....I was out shopping for vits too a few days ago...found One a Day I think it was Cal Plus.....very good phosphorus free too it was on SALE!! Woohoo!! Doesn't take much to turn me on!! lolol With the D3 you want to stay BELOW 400 international units (which I think is the RDA for humans) ..Gonna sprinkle it in his slurry I suspect huh? He'll need to have it consistently for a few weeks before you see any benefit...just the way vits work. Speaking of which I hope this is making some sense....just woke up!
