Ingo,

As you said, it's hard to see from just one picture... But I have a lot more I can show you if you want (e-mail of course!)... And also, believe me, I know the difference between an healthy, a stress and a sick lizard (I know I'm a doctor, not a vet, but anyway... There is some similarities!) . The one shown on the picture was SEVERLY dehydrated, as I said and as the experts at Magazoo told (Believe me! They know reptiles! They were the fisrt to sold them in Montreal and only herp's fans work there...) but mostly as the veterinarian confirm to me. On the others pictures, you can see really well old scares and many burns (wich are NOT skin discoloration from stress) and you can also see a snout damage. All this, and the rest, was confirm by the vet I've seen for my reptile since a long time and who is really good.

So, as we all saw this reptile in real, and you just saw him on one picture, I'm gonna stick with my story... And I do believe you when you say you've seen much worse than that... That's what sad!

And I'm posting this because I think it's just one of too many sad stories... And I do believe it's crueltry to bring such a sick animal too a pet shop and try to sell it instead of just bring him to a vet.

I usually agree with you Ingo, but not this time...
Hope you don't take it personnally

Julie :o)
