hi i used esu and then iwent to zoomed to vitalite now im back to zoomed i like their lighting products its a matter of choice good luck but the bulb yu have is good hope your using it with a daybulb on a timer for daylight and at night you can either use a red bulb, black bulb , or ceramic heater. do not use heat rocks. good luck
