We built Sam's first outdoor cage with chichen wire. Needless to say, it was a disaster. We bought the Internet plastic wire that was mentioned in the Ultimate Ig Manual. We stapled that on the inside of Sam's outdoor cage. We have had no problems since then. We put some of that mesh on the bottom of the double doors in Sam's new indoor cage. Even with her gravid behavior of scratching to get out all day, we have had no problems. We used the 3/4" mesh.
