I posted a link below to a site that has many links to different pages showing cage designs. Look through them and you might find one that you like including instructions on how to build it.
On the biting, an iguana is a wild animal and could bite at any time, but most don't after being tamed. You just have a little guy and should be able to get him to settle down. My ig, Sneakers, is only 18 months old. He has stopped any biting or signs of aggression. But, he has not reached full sexual maturity and we haven't gone through a breeding season with him yet as an older ig. As he grows up you'll know how he/she normally acts and should be able to recognize warning signs. One is posturing - raising themselves up, extending the dewlap and curling the tail ready to whip. An open mouth as you come close is a warning. Others will probably tell you their experiences.
