As Xta mentioned,,we have always used used t-shirts that we rub on oursleves and put them in their cage,,usually in their hide boxes.When we handle a new lizard,,we wear a shirt for two or three times we've handled that lizard so they smell themsleves on us.They are very scent oriented creatures.You need to move slowly and from below or the side of them,,not over top of them like a predetor.Speak softly and try holding them when it's evening and they've settled down for the night.I have always sat watching tv and rocking them wrapped in their t-shirt and I still love to rock and whisper to my babies.Good luck.
