Hi!
You have a great approach to raising an iguana, and I commend you on this. As you are well aware, many people never investigate whatever animal they have decided that they want, and rush out and buy it. Then they can't understand why it dies in 2 months! Duh! I could write a book on this, but better not go there. Anyway, I wanted to take a brief moment, to compliment you on the fact that you did the research first, and brought the iguana into the correct conditions from the beginning. You are in for a wild ride with an iguana, and will soon discover that you would not have it any other way. They will be a constant source of amusement, and wonder. Make sure you take your new family member to the vet also here pretty quick. They frequently come from the breeders with parasites, worms, etc. Get Ziggy in for a check on these things to make sure that the lil one gets off to a good, and healthy start in life. If you need a vet referral, let me know. I know of a few sites which are very helpful in finding a qualified herp. vet. Yes, Sue, yours is one of them! *Grin* Take care, and good luck.
