It's common for them not to eat (and stay hidden) in a new environment. Don't worry he will come around. Some are more sensitive than others. I had one who wouldn't go to the bathroom when we moved (we used that to our advantage and potty trained him) but he really missed his old place and basking area (we made it up to him by taking him to the park-- which he loved!) Our latest ig hated his new cage when we put him in it-- 6 months later, he seems to like going back into it. Both our lizards like our new house-- were not traumatized by the move that I could tell.
