Third St. SE, 4400 block, Jan. 19. A woman who had been keeping a friend's iguana loose in her apartment called Animal Control because her friend had not reclaimed the three-foot-long lizard, and the woman was afraid of it. The iguana was being held at the D.C. Animal Shelter pending contact by the original owner.
