Hey Mom, I see Yvette found the article I was refering to. I'm not sure if what you were refering to was a regular red heat lamp type light or not. If so I wouldn't feel comfortable. They put off quite abit of light. They do make a nocturnal incadecent bulb that are available in a very dark dark red. I saw them on a pet supply page and believe they were relitivly cheap.(about $5 to $10) I am planning on getting a ceramic heat emitter. They don't put off any light. They are abit more expensive and require porcelain fixtures. I figured I better get some good heat in that cage since my GF told me that I'm gonna be moving into it soon...hehe!(to think she wants me to take her out to dinner instead of getting new "stuff" for the Igs.....grin!)
