Just came back from picking up the Ig in the shed...

And it's not nearly as bad off as I'd feared - G. G. was in much worse shape. This one comes with a large, screened cage and is now comfortably set up in front of G's favorite window. G. G. is definatly not impressed and appears to hate it already.

I am starting a series of warm soaks this afternoon, as it appears pretty dehydrated as well as underweight. I will probably start trying to feed it tomorrow, with a crushed Tums in the greens (don't remember who posted that tip, but thanks!). I don't expect it to eat right off. Am also going to tame it down some. Miserable varmit gave me a hell of a bite - took the first knuckle behind my right forefinger clear to the bone. Picked 2 teeth out of it, so now I got to keep an eye on it's mouth as well.

Got to go get at it - I have a sick Gaboon to tend to as well.

Will keep you good folks posted.
