I too, wouldn't do anything until she's egg bound. She may, like Sue1's, go for years without developing eggs and having a problem. I've heard of them going at least 7 years. I'd make a decision and then wait til it's needed. When the time comes, you won't have to run around asking questions, but will know what you want to do. So for now, I'd leave her alone, but find the information and a VERY good Vet, who has done numerous operations like this and just FYI, the latter isn't going to be easy....Vet's like that aren't a dime a dozen! IF you're close to VA. I know of one who I would recommend above anyone else in these parts of the woods.
