doesn't sound like a very good vet to me ... to insist you bring your ig in to discuss *x-rays*!?!?! especially when it's so *cold* where you are!?!? that sounds totally UNprofessional to me ... *geesh* i can't even count the times i called iZ's doc to discuss various problems on the phone with him, both before + after iZ's sugery ... he was more than willing to take my calls and answer my zillions of questions ... and IMHO, that's how it *should* be!!! glad you're looking for a new doc for her! igs sure don't need to be going out in the winter if it's not totally necessary!!!

if she's still pooping good, sounds like whatever it was on the x-ray is not a problem ... *fingers crossed* for a totally uneventful egg-laying!!!

:::The vet told me he was going to send the xrays out to have them evaluated then let me know I paid about 300.00 for that initial visit and when I called him about the xrays he told me to bring her in, when I asked why he would not discuss the xrays over the phone and that I needed to come in with her. It is currently 50 below zero here with the wind chill no way in hell I am going to drag her out in it if I don't have to. :::
