raising igs (or *kids* for that matter!) is like that ... as soon as you think you have something figured out, you find you have even more questions that what you started with!!! hehehee

glad to hear Booger is getting some weight back!!! *hooray!* as far as how much is too much??? hmmmm ... i'd think that as long as she is semi-cooperative, keep putting stuff in her mouth ... if she's still swallowing fairly soon after you put food in, i would think that she's not quite full ... with iZ, it got obvious when he'd had enough ... he'd *really* clamp his mouth shut, tight enough that i was afraid i'd hurt him if i forced it open ... he also wouldn't swallow as readily, he'd let it sit there for a long time ...

it's my best guess that if she's pooping ok, you're not giving her too much, her system is able to handle what you're giving her ... but i don't know what to think about the undigested food ... might wanna give her doc a call + ask ... i'm thinking tho, that her digestive system is still healing from surgery + just isn't quite 100% yet + that it's not a cause for concern ... can't remember how long it's been since her surgery??? it takes igs a long time to heal since they're cold blooded ...

iZ did better with a couple of small meals per day than one big one ...

do you have food available for her to eat on her own???? even if she'll start taking one bite on her own, that's good ... tho it took iZ a long time to get to that point ...

sounds like you're doing pretty good!!!! i *like* happy stories!!!

*tongue flix* to Booger from iZ
