It will most likely take you several months if not more. I have had Baby for 3 years, in the last year is when he has really started to trust me. Even now I have to be careful and watch his body language. When he gets mad enough he will still bite (usually only gets this mad when at the vets office). He likes getting his way, and will put up a fuss if I don't let him do what ever. The more you work with your IG the sooner you will develope a trust between the two of you. It will teach you what it's wants and it will learn what you want from it. Good luck.
