Another reason for toe loss found......

Vet called and said that he found another reason for baby ig toe loss and although it isn't what happen with Sammy I wanted to pass it on as a warning... Incomplete shed can cause a tiny ring of skin to form at the joint of the toes of baby iguanas. This hasn't been found in older ig, only in small babys. Baby igs sould be let to stand in water for a few minutes and have the feet patted dry and check for the ring. Especially if toes start looking a different color.
