: this applies to ALL reptiles. Geckos are bad about retaining toe sheds, too. No matter what age, it would pay to check the feetsies on a regular basis....looking for human hair wrapped around tootsies, carpet strands wrapped, etc. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to put some mineral oil on the feet when you notice they are getting ready to shed ;O)
