What's this little guy doing for UVB lighting?
A human heating pad turned on to the low to medium setting with a towel over it, will do for keeping him warm under the desk. Although that location is not idea, I would be addressing the issue of the female and getting her straighten around. The stress level that the little guy is probably going through, has got to be high. This isn't good at all for the iglet. I'd suggest focusing on the female, find a solution to the door issue and then start working on getting your little iglet back out on his basking branch.
Again, UVB is a must, for a healthy iguana. The light fixture must be within 18" or less of your iguana all day. Also, the bulb needs to be replaced every 6 months, since the UVB rating weakens after that time.
