I have a little male who is not basking but hiding under my desk. He likes to sleep under there at night but one of my females is bullying him and he has taken to hiding there during the day. I let my iguanas chose the site they like to be in and then set up a heat source for them but I can't figure out how to heat under this piece of furniture because it is so low to the carpet (less than 4 inches). There is a radiator in back of the desk but I am not sure that it gets hot enough.
Any ideas? The female that is bullying him is a Houdini iguana and I can't keep her in any cage. She destorys the doors and comes out. Now that the door is off she rarely comes out but lately has been climbing up to Tiny's (the little male) perch and eating his food (she is given more than enough food and sometimes leaves her food to eat his). We have tried feeding him in other locations but he won't eat unless he is warm enough. Sometimes we feed him by hand so that we know he gets the food.
Again, any ideas?
Thanks.
