Is Pavel female? Something has changed...new enclosure? new arrangements moved to bedroom but used to be in ? Maybe someone has disturbed her sleep pattern, husbandry like being too cold, she's isolated now when didn't used to before....something....Think...Igs young and old...HATE CHANGE!! They will go off feed for weeks, act out in one way or another ....if there is any disruption to the routine they have painstakingly adjusted to. Iguanas are HIGH MAINTENANCE PETS...with specific
dietary and husbandry requirements,..any long term deviation from providing those needs=huge vet bills. Their antics from climbing and crawling about......can cause injury to themselves....and huge vet bills.
Basic yearly physical problems like from egg-binding (females) and male breeding season aggression (towards other reptiles, pets, humans)
can cause emergency medical bills from illness or injury associated from them. IN OTHER WORDS: You will need a vet sooner or later. here's a link to ARAV...others here have some more in case you need. Tell us what city your in...perhaps we got someone here close who can recommend one to you.
