we need to know alot more about your ig before answers can be posted to why. Please take the time to tell us about your iguanas equipment,lighting,climate and temps,diet and any other thing to do with your ig. What's the igs cage set up like? Any unusual visual signs on your iguanas body......black spots, bumps, base of tail skinny...etc....
Does your iguana have folds of skin along the sides of it's body? Any hide boxes in the cage or any cover at all? What's the lighting schelude like...lights on at ?? and off at ???? night temp and day temp???
The answers to the above questions should always be posted before asking for answers to problems...since none of us live with you and your iguana, we have no idea what it's like there, you could have NO UVB lighting, temps could be 70 degrees and you could be feeding your iguana dog food as far as we know.
Please fill us in on as much information as possible and then we'll do our best to suggest from that information.
You will have to help us......help you!
