Hey Johnny....don't have much time here but want to say....doesn't sound kidney AT ALL....injury! CPK measure enzyme released when skeletal, muscle tissue injury or heart functioning (like heart attack damage) right! Check CK (same as CPK) in Maders instead of creatinine phosphokinase.. he just has it as creatinine kinase.Every lab is different 1000 U/L standard in Messonniers ...CREATININE not CPK, or CK in Maders...dL=deciliters ....if my spelling sucks cuz I need some sleep ...will try posting tomorrow too...by then you will have all the Feos & Juana lab values to compare....if CPK answers you need prolly...but I too will pull up skeletal muscle tissue plasma levels elevated need to look at AST & LDH heck I'd even check on the SGOT enzymes too if concerned about liver, heart functioning if all those are within normal range...then its defiantely skeletal, muscle injury....per Maders pg 253..last paragraph under Blood ENzyme Activity...anyway...Im rambling and prolly not making any sense..but also...X EATING PRIOR to blood work WILL THROW the lab values OFF...tho the vet won't tell ya that!! Maybe he had a fall you didn't know about...Xray?? any limping? acting as if he's in pain...seriously wonder whether its heart (^protein, fats) related...anyhoo...let us know what you find out...very interesting..Nitey nite
