Well it's into the 5th day giving him a quarter section of Ovaban 5mg. and showing no signs of mellowing. If anything, he's gotten worse yesterday. I was standing about 3 feet away from his cage and he came across his cage in one burst slamming into the side of his cage and almost falling to the bottom of his cage. He is also getting hard to handle outside of the cage, twisting and turning with more force then he has in the past. Yesterday he kept his mouth open most of the time outside of the cage in my hands. Waiting for the chance to bite me. He's all but foaming at the mouth folks!
I've got to do something about his cage before he beats himself up. He needs a padded cell.....maybe even a straight jacket too. It's to the point that we will be buying a set of chain linked gloves to fit under the pair of welding gloves because he's to the point of biting thorough the welding gloves. The chain link gloves are what some fishermen use when cleaning fish with a knife. I won't give up on Harry (putting him down) but I also won't be letting Sue or Hillary stick their hands and arms into his cage either. He has become flat out dangerous.
I guess in the end, Harry will be Harry, and adjusting life to deal with him is the only thing to do.
HD.....still looking for the old Harry! :(
