I believe Sleestack is a Mexican iguana from what you guys describe (and what was told to me when I first started writing the forum). He is long and thin (doesn't seem to bulk up) with the horns (ripped off) and lots of browns on sides, with his head having browns and almost black coloration at times--with bright crazy yellow/gold eyes and very long spines. I bought him in a pet store and wonder how he got there too (the whole batch was dark like this--so from same lot)although they didn't all have the horns which leads me to believe they could have been cross bred (with mine showing more dominant Mexican traits). I have never seen any before or since that looked like this in any pet store-- they were also bigger than the normal baby size.

My question to anyone else with a Mexican iguana-- have you noticed any crazy personality differences? He is insane compared to my last iguana (from different region). He is so hyperactive and stubborn-- and his blood work up showed he was abnormal (although healthy) I cannot remember the specifics but two numbers were reversed and the vet actually called a specialist because he had never seen anything like it-- but apparantly some igs have these reverse levels. He is driving me crazy though-- goes to the bathroom 4x per day, but there is no medical explanation--and his stool samples always check out fine! He does not stay still like normal reptiles but scratches, climbs, claws, jumps, DIGS,-- is the most active animal I have seen in my entire life! It tires me to be in the same room with him. Do they make riddlin for igs?????
