Dear Cliff,

I've seen many monitors and most all of them are over weight!! If I can suggest a plan of action for your monitor, it would be to look at exercise vs food intake. Wild monitors probably don't eat full meals everyday and some days they go without eating at all. Throw the following into this kind of feeding: they move most of the day in the wild, which in turn, burns much of the calories and fat intake for energy. Of the monitors I've seen films on, all wild ones are slim and very active.....of the captive ones, I haven't seen one yet that was at all as active in moving around due to the fact of being overweight. There was a posting of a pic on the monitor forum under your main posting, that was a very nice looking monitor ( very healthy ) I think the guy posted a formula to use, you might try that.

PS If you can bear to hear my opinion of your statements on forum people and their actions please feel free to email me. I won't comment on here about it!!!!
