Today I went in a pet shop and I saw a wonderful male iguana rinolopha, took back because overgrown, he was longer than 3.5 foot and was apparently in good healt, with a beautiful skin color and no visible signs of MBD. Why I'm confused? Because I have seen his cage, about 2 foot x1 x 1.5, without UVB and temp controls (no thermometer or thermostat): probably a so bad owner was unable to offer a good diet. What's incredible is that, as the dealer says, this iguana has about same age of mine, but mine now is 18.5 inch, is grown of 9 inch in 10 months, receiving the better care possible (big cage, good temperature and humidity and a very good diet). Have I a dwarf iguana, the rinolopha is a giant or dealer told me a lie?
