Eye prob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok yesterday Rex wouldn't open his right eye. So today I was looking at it and he had what looks to be a piece of thread coming out of it, so I pulled it out. It didn't come out easy, but it didn't take to long. He still wont open his eye that much, just 1 16th of an inch. Any help? I think it might still be sore, but I can't tell cause i'm not him.
