Hi,
Two things to mention: Igs shed their teeth like skin, they are very small and almost transparent, in other words you could/might have some of those in the wound which may cause infection. The second thing is if you see your Dr. about this and he treats you with an antibiotic for infection or prevention of one, the medicine used should be effective against gram negitive bacteria. I don't mean to scare you, if you cleaned the wound well and it is not so deep as to cause complications you'll probably be just fine.
