What kind of lizards are these??? photo

Wild Iguanas?? (not sure proper name) from Mexico
My friend gave me these shots he took while on vacation-- I wonder why he thought of me??? ;-)
Since these Mayan ruins are off limits to humans, the lizards have overtaken the temples for their own!
