Some of them are orange and brown others are purple to black with and orange tinge. Not to many green ones. Lots of them were 3 - 4 feet, but none larger. That's probably the best photo he could get, I couldn't ever get one. They sit on the rocks by the side of the roads and turn their heads to watch the cars go by but if you even take a step towards them, they're gone! They all have that mean pissed off look on their faces and they look a lot like the marine iguanas in the Galopagoes but the ones I saw in Mexico lived inland.
