Tell your friend that if he purchased the plywood and he got CDX then it may be possible that his ig may be snagging its toes in the plywood. Because if you use CDX it is rough and the outside coat of wood will split and crack. Which would allow the toes to get caught and the ig trying to get loose could possibly get pulled off.

Hope this is the only thing that is wrong.
