I've actually only given Rex sweet potato once, when I found them at the produce store, and not ever since. You can tell the difference between the sweets p's and yams very easily. Yams tend to be pointed at the ends where as sweet potatos look just like a large regular potato, only orange-ish in color. I've mostly been sticking to the squashes lately, switching off every time I go shopping to give a little varity along with his greens......and for Igmomma....as far as cooking the sweet p's...my spoiled little brat won't eat anything unless it's nuked for a couple of minutes to soften and make it nice and warm. (Not the greens of course) Tried to give it to him raw a few times and he won't touch it....little turd!
