Jeff, first give you new ig a chance to get use to it's new invoirment, they are a fussy lot when it comes to changes any changes,,so be patient.Next try putting one of your old clean t-shirts(rub it on yourself sans colognes)and put it in you new igs home. They flick their tongues to get odors and scents,so he will get use to smelling you. After he has settled in,possibly a couple of weeks or month, slowly get down to eye level with your ig and slowly just put your hand in the cage and don't try to touch him, just talk sofly and slowly.Do this regularly and at the same time each day.Next try hand feeding him his favorite food.It just takes time(lots of it) and patience(lots of it).Try Melissa Kaplin's site also,it has everyting you need to set up and teach you and your ig the facts of life. And be sure to come back here anytime with your Questions.
