Annette.....aren't you the same Annette that has "Ms. Tude"? So we're not talking about Ms. Tude? if not......please please forgive me...and my presumptious comments about ig. bites/you're decision...Im so sorry...Ive done this before...mixing up people (with meagans last time!) RE: dogs & igs....I have two dogs ...my igs hate em both...dewlaps flaring, tails a whippin, my female used to chase my doxie pup when she was a free roamer. When my igs are out of their enclosures the dogs are out on the patio...when dogs are inside igs are outside. Igs make great chew bones. Many an ig has been destroyed by dogs even friendly docile dogs (you cannot tame instinct out of animals). Heavy duty supervision is needed in all situations when they are together. Ya know...Melissa Kaplans site has alot of information about coexisting igs & household pets...maybe shed some light on the topic for you.Here's the link
