Thanks for that information. We haven't put in the fan yet, but we're thinking about it very seriously. We have a couple of old computer around the house that we keep robbing parts off of. We will be sure to take both parts off. Another thought that would be cheaper for people...those office clip on fans. Cheap and already setup for 120v.
