Please note that most computer power supply fans and CPU fans are 5 volt. Your household current is 120v. You will need to use either a transformer that reduces the voltage to 5v or get a computer power supply that does this automatically. Cost: fans are $9 to $20, power supplys are around $25 to $ 40 depending on if you are buying new or used. My recommendation is to buy used everything. Be careful on the mounting of the power supply and make sure the power supply is well ventilated and the wiring is shielded or at least well insulated from water and wear.
